This Privacy Policy explains how SchlenkerLabs LLC, doing business as The Tech Sitter ("The Tech Sitter," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use thetechsitter.com (the "Site") or book our in-home technology support services.

1. Information We Collect

When you book an appointment or contact us, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, email address, phone number, home address, device type, service selected, and any message or details you share about what you need help with.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To schedule, confirm, and provide your in-home visit.
• To contact you about your appointment by email, phone, or text, according to the contact method you choose.
• To keep a record of past visits so we can better assist you on future bookings.
• To protect the Site against automated abuse (see Cloudflare Turnstile, below).

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing by any third party.

3. SMS & Text Messaging Privacy

If you choose text as a contact preference, we use your phone number solely to send you messages related to your appointment (confirmations, scheduling updates, and reminders). No mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent is shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. This information is used only to communicate with you about your own bookings. See our Terms of Service for opt-out instructions (reply STOP) and message/data rate disclosures.

4. Third-Party Services

A few outside services help us run the Site securely:

• Cloudflare Turnstile — a bot-protection check shown on our booking and contact forms, so we can tell real visitors from automated spam. Cloudflare may process your IP address and browser information to perform this check; see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts — used to load the typefaces on this Site.
• Email delivery — booking confirmations and internal notifications are sent through our business mailbox (Hostinger/Titan Mail); we don't use a third-party marketing email platform.

5. Data Retention & Security

We keep booking and customer records for as long as needed to provide services and maintain accurate records of past visits. We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

6. Your Choices

You can ask us to update or delete your contact information, or stop contacting you, at any time by emailing [email protected] or calling/texting (419) 725-4750. To stop text messages specifically, reply STOP to any message we send.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site and Services are intended for adults arranging their own or a family member's tech support, and are not directed at children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
